So what does Carpet Recycling UK do? The association works to:

• Develop strategic collaborations and networks to divert more carpet waste from landfill.
• Find new and developing end uses for recycled carpet.
• Provide specialist waste management advice to the sector.
• Lobby for favourable environmental policies.
• Disseminate developments in the industry at conferences, trade events and shows.
• Initiate research into processing carpet waste materials and disseminating results.
